Nini de la Vega Studios is a family owned business which started operations in 1990 by Nini de la Vega. Considered hobby at first this allowed her the extra income and the ability to shake the "Suzy homemaker" names given to her. She found her niche in the world of art and accepted the satisfaction os being self-employed. She came from an administrative position in a paint, driveway and roof coating plant. Previously in the world of Fashion Design to positions in Real Estate Development, the Music and Film Industry, using all talents as tools to currently behaving under artistic construction. They say the average person changes career about six times, with Nini they all had an emphasis in art. We give much thanks to Joseph Collins Studios and family for opening the door. The earlier days began in LA's Mack Sennet Stage (first silent movie stage) where we painted large skies and scenic backdrops. This became the ground work for the future. Through the early days of struggling to today's successful achievements is no surprise. Hard work, together with wonderful people and dedication is the key. Art On Call was created in 2003. The creation of a contact based website for all artisans, students, craftsman and designers in all trades will prove to be a successful one. After all, "It's the new show and tell." Today Nini de la Vega Studios retains a strong background in the world of Architectural Composites, Paintings and Custom Finishes. The construction field is not a stranger to this company. From dreams and schemes to actual themes, the physical operation of setting up scaffolding to pasting up large over-sized canvas, to sanding, refurbishing, renovating and restoring everything and anything. Most projects accepted over the proposed words, "Yes I can do that." Today, along the way and over the years every project is considered unique. Each project is backed with reference materials and much research and development. Her skills as a Computer Graphic Artist allow for conceptual planning with illustrations providing a sneak preview and visual aid to customers. Many long hours are spent and yet perfection is a big part of the picture. Multi tasking talented artists working together with the Studio is a must. The use of both sides of the brain and must know "a little bit about everything" while using two hands... is a requirement. We always hope for the best. Specializing in custom finishes. Our slogan: "From Concept To Finish." Many of the studio's ideas stem from Design consultations with our clients and their desires. This has earned us respect and trust as one of Southern California's best Artisans. Our Studio service prices are fair and competitive. We do not compromise quality. Along with the special finishes, faux finishing, decorative painting services for residential homes and commercial businesses, we are honest. Mixing a can of paint is easy, mixing a can of paint the right color with no store in proximity, is a gift. High color vision is our recipe for a successful outcome and we'd like to claim it!
